Welcome to Applications - Woodworking Shops

Equipment Selection:   Woodworking environments are best heated by using low to mid-size BTU infra-red tube heaters.   Open flame DR heaters are not recommended.  Ten to 30 ft. tube heaters, with BTU consumption less than 50,000 BTU’s are most common.  Mounting height or residential application may dictate the use of the CSA Residentially Certified LD or LS Series heater.

Installation:
Heaters are typically installed where the ceiling and a wall meet, with the reflector directed toward the center of the space.  Offset mounting is used to prevent working directly under a heater.  Using  combustion air and venting is required.  Keep clean and control via thermostat.
